1. "New functionality to improve productivity has been made available in SAGA 2.2.4. Many thanks to the developers. It allows the global changing of a parameter(s) for multiple selected grids, i.e. all selected grids are changed by a single operation.
These changes are a great help to those of us who view multiple grids simultaneously; in my case many Lidar derived grids looking for archaeological features. For example, in previous versions of SAGA a change to the colour table, say from the default to grey scale, required many clicks on each grid. Now one can select all the grids, and with one set of clicks, change a parameter for all the grids. Brilliant.
Here's how:
1) In the 'Manager Window - Data tab' select (highlight with control-left mouse) all the required grids.
2) In the 'Object Properties Window - Settings tab' select, for example, 'Transparency' and change to the desired value. Click Apply.
3) The transparency value for all the grids are changed.
My early testing shows that all the parameters in the 'Object Properties Window - Settings tab' can be altered in the way described - colour tables, scaling, resampling, value range, No Data range, etc. This is a powerful enhancement to SAGA for those of us studying multiple grids for many hours and wishing to carry out 'what-if' experiments.
My mouse and right index finger say, "Thank you developers".
Regards, Tanimbar"
